dc.description.abstract | Cinnamic acid ((2E) -3-phenylprop-2-enoic acid) and their derivatives are well known for their uses in biology, pharmaceutical and many applications in industrial fields. In this work, we have described the conventional method for synthesis of new heterocyclic derivatives of cinnamic acid. The 1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thiol and 4-amino- 1,2,4-triazole-3-thiol have been successfully synthesized. These compounds were prepared from cinnamic acid as a starting material. The structures of the synthesized compounds were established by infrared spectroscopy (IR ) and ultraviolet spectroscopy (UV). | en_US |
