The asynchrones machines has shown its importance and its benefits. The advancement in the field of static converters accelerates the use of these machines in the industry including critical and vital applications. The dependability of these systems must be monitored by real-time diagnostic modules in order to minimize failures and for the purpose of scheduling maintenance sessions. In this study, this module is designed by using an extended Kalman filter, which is suitable for the non linear model of the machine ,This estimator has as a goal the monitoring of magnitudes of the non-measurable variables of the machine as well as the parameters of the squirrel cage rotor which is in this study the subject of failures. A numerical simulation showed the utility of these choices.en_US
