منطقـة تـوات في القــرن 19م مـن خــلال كتـابات الرحــالــة والمستكشفيــن

Abstract

تعالج هذه الأطروحة موضوع منطقة توات خلال القرن التاسع عشر في كتابات الرحالة والمستكشفين، وتعرِّف بأهم المستكشفين والرحالة الذين زاروا توات وكتبوا عنها، وترصد مختلف مكونات المجتمع التواتي ونظامه الاجتماعي وعاداته وتقاليده ومستواه المعيشي، كما تسلط الضوء على الدور الثقافي للمنطقة من خلال المؤسسات التعليمية والمؤلفات العلمية والطرق الصوفية، وتستعرض في الجانب الاقتصادي نظام الري المرتبط بالفقارة، وكذلك النشاط الزراعي والصناعي، وتركِّز على إبراز المكانة التجارية للمنطقة، كل هذا وذاك بعيون الرحالين والمستكشفين.

This thesis deals with the topic of Touat region during the nineteenth century in the writings of travelers and explorers. It introduces the most important explorers and travelers who visited Touat and wrote about it. It monitors the various components of the Touati society, its social system, customs, traditions and standards of living. It also highlights the cultural role of the region through educational institutions, scholarly literature, and Sufi orders. In the economic aspect, it reviews the irrigation system linked to the "Faqara", as well as the agricultural and industrial activities. And it focus on highlighting the commercial position of the region. All the above mentioned is observed through the eyes of travelers and explorers.
