Caractérisation de l'huile essentielle et évaluation de l'activité antioxydante de l’extrait éthanolique de l'espèce

Abstract

La présente étude vise à la caractérisation physique et chimique de l’huile essentielle de Lavandula stoechas L obtenue par hydrodistillation, la détermination de leurs groupements fonctionels par la spectroscopie infrarouge ainsi que l’évaluation de l’activité antioxydante de l’extrait éthanolique.La partie aérienne (feuilles, tiges, fleurs ) sèche de cette espèce contient une humidité de 11,05% ± 3,2 et un taux de cendres de 12,99% ± 0,68. Les rendements d’extarction obtenus par hydrodistillation et par méceration dans l’éthanol sont respectivement 0,41% et 5,2% Le pouvoir antioxydant de L.stoechas L a été estimé par le test de piégeage des radicaux libres (DPPH) et le test de réduction de fer (FRAP). L’extrait testé présente une activité antioxydante appreciable avec IC50 de 113,041 µg/ml et 62,62 mg / ml respectivement.

The present study aims at the physical and chemical characterization of the essential oil of Lavandula stoechas L obtained by hydrodistillation, the determination of their functional groups by infrared spectroscopy as well as the evaluation of the antioxidant activity of the ethanolic extract. The dry aerial part (leaves, stems, flowers)of this species contains 11,05% ± 3,2 of moisture and 12,99% ± 0,68 of an ash content of 12,99% ± 0.68. The extraction yields obtained by hydrodistillation and by maceration in ethanol are 0,41% and 5,2% respectively. The antioxidant activity of L.stoechas L was estimated by the free radicals scavenging test (DPPH) and the ferric reduction test (FRAP). The extract tested exhibits appreciable antioxidant activity with IC50 of 113,041 µg/ml and 62,62 mg/ml respectively.
