Abstract: | Algeria is characterized by several climates in the north and in the south as well as over the seasons. Construction materials are directly involved in climatic hazards and it is not conceivable that concrete material is designed and thought out in the same way in all regions of our vast country the largest area of which is desert (Sahara). where temperature differences and relative humidity are particular. The quality of the construction materials used in concrete materials technologies is specific to dry and arid regions. Thus, this work is part of an accredited theoretical research program to clarify the effect of the nature of the components on the quality of the mixture and especially on the resistance to stresses, which remains for the engineer the most important characteristic. except for sustainability indicators.. Therefore, we have proposed to carry out an extensive program to study the extent of the compressive strength of concrete, according to what is internationally applicable to it. These operations were carried out according to different rules published according to several researchers, we decided to choose a certain number, which are the rules most appreciated by engineers.. We opted to study several of the most popular methods in desert regions, including: –Joisel –Faury - Féret - Paulomey - DreuxGorisse - Japanese - Valletta - French - British - Swedish - American. Unfortunately, the special conditions of containment following the global pandemic observed this year, our laboratory has closed. This prompted us to work under limited emergency conditions and we decided to use only the two "Faury-DreuxGorisse" methods, which are the most used in southern Algeria. The experimental results obtained provided us with a database. This allowed us to formulate a scheme which seems easy to use for comparing, by statistical analysis, of the experimental results. |
