الحياة الإجتماعية والإقتصادية في مملكة برنو خلال القرن 18 و19 م

Abstract

تعد مملكتي الكانم- برنو اللتان قامتا بالعاقب في بلاد السودان الأوسط وتوحدتا ليشكلا امبراطورية اسلامية قوية شملت أرض السودان والغربي، والتي دامت حوالي 9 قرون، من أقوى ممالك بلاد السودان، تميزت عن باقي الممالك الاسلامية الاخرى كونها جمعت في تكوينها وتركيبها الطائفي بين مجموعة من المميزات والمؤثرات العربية والزنجية والبربرية والاسلامية. وقد ضمت هذه الدولة عدد كبير من القبائل والعناصر، فهناك قبائل "الصو" وقبائل " الكانمبو" وقبائل " الكانوري" وهي خليط من العرب والبربر والزنوج وهؤلاء يكونون اغلب سكان هذه السلطنة يضاف الى ذلك قبائل "التبو" من البربر، وكذلك بربر "الطوارق" من سكان المناطق الشمالية الصحراوية، فضلا عن قبائل العرب الذين كانوا يعرفون هناك باسم " الشوا"، وسكنت منطقة كانم- برنو شعوب وقبائل من مختلف الجناس، - كما ذكرنا سابقا- فأكيد أن تلك المجموعة لديها طابعها الخاص ولا بد أن هجرتها للمنطقة سمحت لها بممارسة انشطة اقتصادية معينة، وهي الزراعة، والتجارة، والصناعة، والصيد والرعي.
