This research aims to study the advantage of the Video-Audio exposure mode of a video medium compared to another Video-Video exposure mode on the listening comprehension of learners in the class of FLE. The analysis of the answers to a comprehension questionnaire carried out according to the models of Nagle and Sanders and Van Dijk and Kintsch during our experimentation reveals that indeed learners in Video-Audio exposure mode go beyond their problems of attention and Cognitive overload and achieve a better understanding of the content of the video. Although we agree with the limitations of our research, the small sample of 20 participants does not allow us to confirm the advantage of this mode, but this experiment allows us to identify some elements that help or hinder access to meaning Of an audiovisual message in order to be able to propose standards of use when operating a document of a multimodal nature in the class of FLE.en_US
