dc.description.abstract | Despite the recent successes of Islamic banks, both locally and internationally, this success has not been matched by a set of risks to banks in general, traditional and Islamic ones, the most important of which is facing the risk of liquidity management, which is a real challenge for Islamic banks because of the specificity of their work. The Islamic banks can not resort to the Central Bank in the event of a liquidity deficit because the Islamic banks do not benefit, and this is contrary to conventional banks, which necessitates the Islamic banks to rely and use tools and The intention is to manage the liquidity risk and avoid the risk of insolvency, which may lead to bankruptcy of the bank in the case of liquidity deficit, and avoid disabling the money from the investment in order not to contradict with its principles that deprive the acquisition in the case of excess liquidity. | en_US |
