Design and Implementation of a Tourism Mobile Application in the context of Smart Cities

Abstract

The work presented in this thesis is the design and implementation of a tourism mobile application in the context of smart cities (Case: Sidi AbedAllah, Zeralda, Algiers). Our main objective is to develop a mobile app for tourism, which will be as a mobile reference that guide and enable the new comers to discover the city. This app offers several important services such as, providing the necessary and the detailed informations about particular places (hotels, restaurants... etc), using the GPS facilities for finding the locations and the nearby places easily on the map also the push notifications service that enable the user to know about any event is going to happen in the city. By providing all these features, it can be easy for tourists and travellers to find any place they search for and get most out of their vacation in Algiers, and then they can make their tourism more interesting and enjoyable.
