dc.description.abstractDuring the last years, the applications of detection and tracking of objects in motion have taken an important place especially in the field of security of persons, places and goods, video surveillance, behavioral analysis and medical imaging, robotics, ... .etc. These applications are imposed as a major challenge on a global scale. This work aims at detecting and tracking moving objects in sequences of images having a static background. The first part is based on the detection of objects by eliminating the static background by the Gaussian mixing method and then eliminating the noise based on the mathematical morphology of the objects. The second part proposes a method of tracking by KALMAN filter which makes it possible to construct the trajectories of mobile objects.en_US
