Abstract

تعد منطقة الأزواد من أهم المناطق التي كان لها دورا كبيرا في تاريخ الصحراء الكبرى، والقارة الإفريقية، كونها منطقة ربط بين ضفتي الصحراء، وبما تعاقب عليها من الأمم والشعوب، والحضارات: (الأمازيغ، العرب، الأفارقة، مملكة غانا، مالي، سنغاي) وبما لعبته من دور في تجارة القوافل الصحراوية، وبحواضرها التي تعدت شهرتها الأفاق كتمبكتو، وقْاو، وجني، والسوق، وأروان. وقد شهدت هذه المنطقة خلال القرن 13هـ/19م الكثير من التحولات وفي مختلف المجالات، ومنها الجانب الاجتماعي والاقتصادي. وهو ما سنحاول إبرازه من خلال هذه الدراسة والتي جاءت تحت عنوان: "الأزواد خلال القرن 13ه/19م دراسة تاريخية اجتماعية واقتصادية".

The region of Azawad played a great role in the history of Africa thanks to its geographical situation which constituted a linking point between the two sides of the Sahara, and the successive civilisations that the region witnessed, and the various ethnic groups that lived there (the Kingdoms of Ghana, Mali and Songhay, Arabs, Berbers Africans,) It also played an important role in trans-Saharan trade thanks to its worldwide trade centres like Timbuktu, Gao, Jenni and Arawan. It is worth noting that this region witnessed during the 19th century many changes in different fields particularly the social, the economic which represents the chief concern of this research work entitled “The Azawad during the 19th Century: A Historical, Social and Economic Study
