Abstract: Pyrochlore type oxide is a compound known by its general chemical formula A2B2O7 is one of the most important types of oxides that fall within the list of modern solid solutions, which may be by its own formula access to a new Solid solution. The objective of this work is to study the catalytic effects of pyrochlore oxides of the formula (BERCHID 2014) used as catalysts in the oxidation of phenol in the presence of the peroxide d 'hydrogen H2O2. Some factors influencing the phenol degradation reaction have been studied: the volume of hydrogen peroxide, the reaction time, the mass of the catalyst and the temperature in the reaction medium. The results obtained by HPLC showed that the catalyst continues an average catalytic activity, gives a conversion rate which is equal to 79%, where the phenol could be oxidized by H2O2 in a few by products, Such as hydroquinone, catechol, and certain acids.
