Water and energy are among the most important essential elements essential to life. The growing demand for energy and the inevitable depletion of classical sources call for research on alternative sources such as renewable energies. The solar energy is very used because of these numerous quality. The Algerian Sahara is part of the Great Sahara, its climate is that of hyper areas characterized by low rainfall, very low relative humidity, very high air temperatures and high evaporation losses, these climatic conditions are the cause of the scarcity of surface water in these areas, hence the need to think about water use of groundwater to meet the water needs for the population, agriculture and industry. This research is a technical and economic study on the construction of water pump stations operating at the solar energy (photovoltaic) at the Adrar wilayad. This area has a large surface area of 427968 km2, where there are many isolated places not connected to the electric (conventional) network. The wilayad'Adrardis alsooffers a gridservicereachwithin a few meters from the ground. Annual solar energy are very big. The use of this type of clean and decentralized energy contributes to the development of the economy of the zone. The potential for energy production and pumping throughout the wilaya territory encourages people to stay in their areas of origin.en_US
