Abstract

شهدت البحرية الجزائرية أوج قوتها خلال القرنين 16ميلادي و17ميادي، حيث تمكنت الجزائر بفضلها من احتلال مكانة خاصة في حوض البحر الأبيض المتوسط، وإقامة علاقات دولية مع أكبر الدول الأوروبية، وهاته المكانة لن تكن لتنالها لولا التكامل بين هياكلها، والدور الذي لعبه ديوان البحرية كهمزة وصل بين الرياس والسلطة، وامتلاكها أسطول مميز من حيث العدد والنوع، وهذا ما ساعدها للعب أدوار محورية، وتمكنت من خلالها فرض إرادتها السياسية على جميع الأمم وبسط هيمنتها الاقتصادية نتيجة قوتها العسكرية التي ميزت أسطولها، ومارست من خلاله النشاط البحري الذي يعد الخط الأول في دعائم ايالة الجزائر.
