علماء الشناقطة ودورهم الحضاري في السودان الغربي خلال القرن 11 هـ/ 17 م

Abstract

كان لعلماء شنقيط في منطقة السودان الغربي دور كبير في نشر الثقافة العربية الإسلامية والحفاظ على قيم المجتمع الإسلامي خلال القرن 11ه / 17م ، ويظهر جليا الجهود التي قام به علماء المذهب المالكي وعلماء الطرق الصوفية في نشر الإسلام في غرب إفريقيا ، بحيث كان أمراء الأفارقة يتخذون شيوخا من الشناقطة لكي يعلمونهم أحكام الدين والقرآن والصلاة والنصح للمسلمون. كما تمكن علماء المرابطون من تحقيق الوحدة المذهبية و تعميق الدين الإسلامي و المذهب المالكي في المغرب و في أنحاء غرب إفريقيا ، كذلك قاموا بالقضاء على العادات والتقاليد الوثنية الموجودة أنذاك

The scholars of Chinguetti in the western Sudan region had a great role in spreading the Arab Islamic culture and preserving the values of the Islamic community during the 11th century Hijri/ 17th AD. It is evident that the efforts made by the scholars of the Maliki school and the scholars of the Sufi brotherhoods in spreading Islam in West Africa, so that the African princes took Sheikhs from the Shanaqat to teach them the rulings of religion, the Qur’an, prayer and advice to Muslims. The Al-Murabitoun scholars were also able to achieve sectarian unity and deepen the Islamic religion and the Maliki doctrine in Morocco and throughout West Africa, as well as they eliminated the pagan customs and traditions that existed at the time.
