The aim of this study is to compare the physicochemical characteristics of three distinct varieties of Katran extracted in three different localities of Algeria, namely Katran from Algiers, Katran from Sétif and Katran from Laghouat. Fractional distillation of oils yielded compounds differing in terms of chemical compositions and physical properties.
