The nineteenth century is considered the stage of transformation and change of forces between the Islamic world under the banner of the Ottoman Empire and the European Christian world, led by France and Britain, where the balance of economic growth, cultural transformation and scientific prosperity witnessed the preponderance of the latter, which soon raised the slogan of revenge against the Islamic expansion on the region of warm waters. Algeria Tunisia is the gateway to the theater of new transformations, as the first fell under direct French colonial control and the second was under the weight of the protection system, which does not differ from the first in the state’s loss of its sovereignty. With demolition and confiscation, it obstructed its activity and undermined its nakedness, and replaced it with European educational centers that will pave the way for the extension of the influence of the colonial powers. And the effective method for protecting national identity, this migration gave birth to a generation of intellectuals from The most prominent of them in Algeria is Sheikh Abdelkader Majaoui, who laid the foundations of the reform movement, where he called for a return to the teachings of the Islamic religion and Arab culture, taking into account the positive aspects of European civilization, especially in the field of worldly sciences. The slogan of preserving national identity and standing in the face of the spiritual genocide practiced by colonialism. In Tunisia, lawyer Ali Bash Hamba called for the necessity of positive openness to Western culture without abandoning the personal status of the Tunisian individual, and that independence without Tunisians’ acquisition of the European scientific and cultural heritage tires Tunisians to establish A scientific civilization after independence, and this renaissance idea crystallized in the approach of the Tunisian independence parties, which pushed the wheel of resistance and the stages of independence in Tunisia.
