تجارة الرقـيق في إفريقيا من القرن15م إلى19م

Abstract

تعتبر تجارة الرقيق من أبشع صور الإنسانية التي مارسها الأوربيون ضد الأفارقة السود، والتي بدأت في القرن 15م، حيث كان الأوربيون ينقلون الأفارقة الى العالم الجديد للعمل في مزارع القطن والبن ومناجم الذهب والعمل في المنازل وكانوا يعاملونهم بقسوة شديدة، وكان معظمهم يموتون جراء تلك المعاملة البشعة التي كانوا يتعرضون لها من طرف الأوربيون، وفي نهاية القرن الثامن عشر وبداية القرن التاسع عشر بدأت ترتفع بعض الصيحات في بريطانيا مطالبة بوضع حد لهذه التجارة البشعة وإلغائها، وكان لهذه لتجارة الرقيق عدة انعكاسات سلبية على إفريقيا في عدة جوانب وكان لها انعكاسات إيجابية على كل من أوروبا وأمريكا ، وجني الأوربيون جراء تجارة الرقيق أرباحا وأموالا طائلة.
