Abstract

تناولت الدراسة جانبا من جوانب الحياة العلمية في بلاد السودان الغربي وبالتحديد بيت آل بغيغ ومساهمتهم العلمية في تمبكتو وحظيت البيوتات العلمية باهتمام كبير من طرف الحكام والسلاطين ما أهلهم لتولي مكانة هامة في المجتمع خاصة على مستوى التعليم والقضاء.وكان العلماء في سنغاي، يتخذون من بيوتهم أماكن للتدريس وتعليم الطلاب، ومن أبرز العلماء الذين اشتهروا بمجالسهم العلمية في منازلهم من أسرة بغيغ محمد بغيغ الذي تخرج على يديه جملة من العلماء الذين قاموا بدور عظيم في مواصلة نشر العلم وازدهار مملكة سنغاي.
