السودان الغربي في كتابات الرحالة حسن الوزان أنموذجا(10ه/16م)

Abstract

تعالج هذه الدراسة أحد اعلام الرحالة والجغرافيين المغاربة الحسن بن محمد الوزان الذي اشتهر بالمصنف الجغرافي "وصف افريقيا" اذ ألفه في منتصف العقد الثالث من القرن 16م، ويعد من العناصر المهمة في التعريف بإفريقيا ، ومن بينها قسم بلاد السودان أو ما يعرف حاليا بمصطلح افريقيا جنوب الصحراء .وفي مضمون كتابه عرف نفسه أنه عربي مغاربي، دو تفكير أوروبي، كتبه في ايطاليا بالاتنينة ، وانتجه في خضع النهضة الاربية والكشوفات الجغرافية ، وقد اسهم اثراء تاريخيه من خلال هذا الكتاب، حيث يعرفنا بأحوال قاطينها وجغرافيتها ومسالكها بشئ من التفصيل ودقة الملاحظة.

This study deals with one of the figures of Moroccan travelers and geographers, Al-Hassan bin Muhammad Al-Wazzan, who was famous for his geographical work “Description of Africa”, which he composed in the middle of the third decade of the 16th century AD. The Sahara. In the content of his book, he defined himself as a Maghreb Arab, with European thinking. He wrote it in Italy in Latin, and produced it in the subject of the Arab Renaissance and geographical discoveries, and he contributed to enriching his history through this book, where he informs us of the conditions of its residents, geography and paths in some detail and accuracy of observation.
