إن الهدف الأسمى من وراء بحثنا هذا هو التعريف بعصر الشيخ خليل وحياته , وكذلك إزالة النقاب عن مصطلحات كتابه ومعرفة مقصد قوله منها , ومع إيجاد توافق بين شراح المختصر في تعريفهم لمصطلحات الشيخ خليل من خلال فهمهم لكلامه وتطبيقاته ,وكذلك وضع تطبيقات لهاته المصطلحات ليسهل على القارئ فهما جيدا .
