Abstract

نشأ محمد بن عبد الكريم الخطابي في بيئة علمية بين عائلة اشتهرت بالعلم والزعامة والقضاء، فنشأ متعلماً وفقيهاً متنقلاً بين أجدير وتطوان وفاس، بالإضافة إلى مليلية ومدريد، عمل في التعليم والقضاء والصحافة والترجمة في مليلية، سجن من طرف إسبانيا بتهمة الخيانة، بعدها أعلن الحرب ضد إسبانيا وعلى إثرها أسس جمهورية الريف، ثم قاوم فرنسا التي استسلم لها بعد تحالف الطرفين، نفي إلى جزيرة لارينيون، ثم التجأ لـمصر التي قضى فيها حياته بالعودة للنضال السياسي إلى غاية وفاته بها.

Muhammad bin Abdul karim al-khattabi grew up in a sci-entific environment among a family famous for science, leadership and the judiciary, so he grew up educated and jurist, moving between Ajdir, Tetouan and Faz, in addition to Melilla and Madrid, the war against lsania and in its aftermath established the Republic of the Rif, then resisted Frence, which surrendered to it after the parties alliance, exiled to the island of Larignon, then resorted to Egypt, where he spent his life by returning to the political struggle until his death in it.
