Abstract: The banking sector is witnessing fierce competition in the context of financial globalization and the expansion of its use in the financial and banking fields, and the emergence of international standards such as liberalizing financial services and opening up markets to foreign banks. In the light of these changes in the banking structure, banks are trying to keep up with the changes. The quality of banking service is considered the main gateway to keep abreast of the developments in the banking arena and to rise to the level of competitive challenges. In this study, we discussed the concepts related to the quality of banking service as well as the concepts related to competitiveness as a factor in achieving the competitiveness of the bank. In the "How the quality of banking services contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of banks" In order to achieve the objectives of the study was selected Gulf Bank Algeria and Adrar as a case study and a questionnaire was distributed to a sample of customers of the bank, The survey found that the respondents in the sample evaluated the quality of the banking service positively and that after the concrete aspects is the most valued dimension of the sample, as the study showed There is a positive correlation between the quality dimensions of banking service and the Bank's competitiveness
