Abstract: The aim of this study is to investigate a technique for treating domestic waste water of the city of Adrar to meet existing standards prior to discharge into the natural environment. The main objective is to study the effectiveness of treatment of waste water by the seeds of Moringa oleifera on some bacterial genera (Total germs, Total coliforms, fecal coliforms Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus and Clostridium) The work consists of four mixed various amounts of powdered seeds of Moringa oleifera (2,5, 5, 7,5 and 10g) with a liter of wastewater. For each quantity. treatment time was an hour and a half. A water sampling treated is carried out each 30 minutes. The results confirm that the seeds of Moringa oleifera have a positive effect on the reduction of pathogenic bacteria in wastewater. For 5g powder moringa seeds and a contact time of 60 minutes. The concentration GTAG Password 14,65X108UFC / 100ml to 190x106UFC / 100ml. For the same operating conditions (5g and 60min), the reduction effect on pathogenic germs, is using Moringa seeds was more obvious for clostridium. Where we registered a total reduction of these germs. Regarding the reduction of total coliforms. The found reduction rate was 82.5%. Still in the same operating conditions (5 g and 60min), the reduction rates are found, 81.33, 88.23 and 89.18% for Fecal Coliforms Staphylococcus aureus Streptococci, respectively.
