Reconnaissance de l’écriture arabe manuscrite en utilisant les réseaux neuronaux

Abstract

This work focuses on a study of the field of optical recognition of handwritten Arabic words, particularly the recognition off-line. A general study of handwriting recognition systems has been developed and it has been refined with a special interest in a phase considered crucial in the process of recognition this segmentation phase. We presented the vertical projection method as a method of segmentation and neural networks for recognition based on supervised learning.
