dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to look at the significance of using songs in the EFL classroom. This work will recognize if using songs in teaching EFL will encourage vocabulary acquisition, grammar structure, and pronunciation? Also it will examine if using songs in the classroom will motivate students to learn the English language as a whole. The study was conducted at Othman Ben Affane middle school, in total twenty six pupils participated within the study. They were experienced through a pre-test, post- test, and through classroom observations. The pre-test and post-test were considered by selecting some songs which we preferred for the sake of enhancing EFL learners. The questionnaires was used for teachers (n=10) in order to explore their views towards using songs in teaching the speaking skill. The collected data were analyzed by using the statistical package (SPSS). According to the results, the participants were motivated and they did not anxious. After the Post-test, the pupils‟ vocabulary increased (85%) and the pronunciation improved by 100% as a result while the questionnaire discovered that the teachers‟ participated viewed the value of songs in enhancing their learners and improving their speaking skill.en_US
