Abstract

أفريقيا جنوب الصحراء في كتابات الرحالة المسلمين في العصور الوسطى- ابن بطوطة أنموذجا - هو موضوع دراساتنا حول المظاهر الحضارية في منطقة أفريقيا جنوب الصحراء في القرن 8ه/14م، من خلال مشاهدات وكتابات الرحالة العربي ابن بطوطة، عن سلطنتي مقديشو وكلوه الإسلاميتين في شرق أفريقيا، ومملكة مالي الإسلامية في غرب أفريقيا في شتى مجالات وميادين الحياة السياسة والإقتصادية والإجتماعية، التي أبرزت الثراء، والتقارب، والتأثر الأفريقي بالعالم الإسلامي في بلاد المشرق والمغرب سواء في نظم الحكم والإدارة، أو في المعاملات التجارية، وحتى في الحياة الدينية من خلال الإهتمام بتعاليم الدين الإسلامي، وأنتشار الثقافة العربية بتواجد العنصر العربي في المجتمع الأفريقي الذي كان له الأثر البارز في هذا التقدم الحضاري .
