Abstract: The study aimed to determine the impact of Internet dependence on the academic performance of students preparing for the baccalaureate.The sample included 84 students representing boys and girls in all fields of study (literature, philosophy, literature and foreign languages, sciences Pilot, management and economy. The tools of the study included the use of the Internet Addiction Scale for the owner, Yacoub Khalil Al-Astal (2011) and the adaptation of the Algerian environment by the researcher Hathat Masouda (2014), which had been applied to the sample studied for the 2018/2019 academic year. To achieve the study's objective, the Taliban used the descriptive analytic approach as well as the use of the spss program to analyze the data by studying the relationship between the variables of Internet dependence and academic performance at school. using the Pearson correlation coefficient as well as the T-test to reveal the difference between two intermediate samples, combined record of the school results of the sample members. The results of the study showed the following: - There was no statistically significant difference between students and students with respect to the degree of Internet addiction. - There was no statistically significant difference between admitted and unskilled students in terms of the degree of Internet addiction. - The study sample has a significant degree of dependence of 64.26%. - There is a statistically significant relationship between Internet addiction and the success of high school students Khaled bin Al Waleed next to the bachelor's degree in all the specialties of the sample studied. In light of the results of the study, a set of recommendations has been formulated to conduct further studies on the impact of Internet dependence on educational attainment at all other stages of the Algerian environment, according to the difference of time and place. This study could be the beginning of new research questions.
