Abstract

The study aimed to know the psychological and social compatibility and its relation to motivation for achievement in the first year secondary students at the Shahid al-Din Buhoush Fnugil secondary school. In order to carry out this study, the two researchers used the descriptive approach and used two measures (psychosocial adjustment scale and motivation measure for achievement. The results of this study resulted in the absence of a statistically significant correlation between psychological and social compatibility and motivation for achievement and the absence of a statistically significant relationship between personal compatibility and motivation for achievement and the absence of a statistically significant relationship between health compliance and motivation for achievement and the absence of significant differences in family consensus and motivation for achievement. And the absence of statistically significant differences in community consensus and motivation for achievement. And the absence of differences in the socio-psychological compatibility by sex, the absence of statistical differences in the motivation to achieve the gender variant of the achievement or in light of the results were discussed and compared with previous studies.
