Abstract: In a desert environment, the major constraints on the operation and performance of photovoltaic modules, in addition to high temperatures, is a dust deposit on the surface. For this, the purpose of this thesis is to study the effect of dust on the energy behavior of photovoltaic modules in a desert environment for five days of installation. The experimental showed that the photovoltaic modules can see a significant variation in the short-circuit current (Isc), the open circuit voltage (Voc) and the maximum power point (Pp) up to 8.46%, 3.75%, and 7.65%, respectively.
