Abstract: In an attempt to respond to the needs of learners, a number of approaches and methodologies of teaching have been put forward. In fact, approaches become continuously out-of-date and are replaced by more up-to-date ones to enhance the quality of teaching/learning of French as a foreign language. Such methods gave rise to a number of pedagigical and didactic supports and aids such as the educative pictures and songs. These two tools seem to have considerable advantages, namely in oral comprehension, given the fact that they encourage a better interaction among learners in class on the one hand, and that they help them reach a good level in the French language, on the other hand.
