Abstract

This study aims to find out to which extent the Zakat Fund can finance small and medium enterprises. This research mainly focused on the manner of financing these companies with Qard al- with the Hassan in Mila province and the number of the financed projects through the Zakat Fund, reference to the Zakat Fund of Adrar province and its role in social development. The study concluded that the SMEs contribute in increasing the national output and absorbing the unemployed labor. The proportion of Qard al-Hassan is about 37.5% of Zakat outcome in Mila province in addition to that the Zakat outcome in Adrar province knew a continuous growth from year to year.
