Abstract

Local development is of paramount importance in the global economy, moving society from a level to a better level than economic well-being. On this basis, the tourism sector is one of the most reliable sectors to achieve local development The aim of our study is to try to identify how the tourism sector contributes to the local development of the state of Adrar. An interaction relationship between the two variables has been found, and tourism has not reached the required level, despite the availability of the state with great tourism potential and qualifications. The State must adopt a systematic policy and plan of action to promote the tourism sector, which in turn will contribute to local development.
