Abstract

This study has dealt with the independence of monetary authority and its role in fulfilling the goals of the monetary policy, The main inquiry was proposed this way: How much does the independence of the monetary authority effect the fulfillment of the monetary policy's goals from algeria? This study aimed to know the effect of the independence of the monetary authority in achieving the monetary policy's goals which inchude. the stability of prices, full employment, achieving economic grower and the balance of payment from 1980 to 2015. And thus we deduce that the independence of monetary authority had a clear impact on the stability of prices through the decrease of lower inflation in most years of the years studied
