The present study aimed to examine the effectiveness of a cognitive-behavioral therapeutic program in reducing the severity of depression among individuals suffering from Survivor Syndrome as a result of road traffic accidents. To achieve its objectives, the study adopted the clinical method for diagnosis and follow-up, in addition to a quasi-experimental approach based on a single-group design with pre-test, post-test, and follow-up measurements. The study sample consisted of ten cases, purposively selected from individuals diagnosed with Survivor Syndrome following exposure to road traffic accidents. All participants underwent a cognitive-behavioral therapeutic program specifically designed for this purpose. Data were collected using a depression scale, along with a semi-structured clinical interview.
